yeah they do theres tons and tons of em but i never really watched them they are way too long most average ones are 40 eps i like jdrama cause its so short about 10 eps korean dramas vary but usually are inbetween japanese dramas and chinese ones

Chinese Drama are usually 30episode......its like they showing one episode each day and each month there are new drama ^^

-Ancient Chinese History
-Mao Ze Dong's army being the hero and beating down the Guoming Dang, Capitalism, or Godzilla
or
-Meteor Garden

I jest I jest, but most of them are the first two categories, with very very few being modern in nature. Most of the modern ones are imported from Korea or, as noted, Taiwan.
I don't want to get political, but in many places TWDramas are separate from CDramas because there really is a distinct difference in them.
I've seen v very few modern dramas that originates from the mainland.
