oh yeah. i think its definitely a good idea to stay in a dorm, especially the first year where everyone is eager to meet new friends and check out campus. Actually I think alot of schools require you to live on campus your freshman or sometimes even your sophomore year.

But what i'm really trying to say is, yeah stay in a dorm your freshman year

its pretty good, i mean its about 300 down and 70 up, which isn't much more than my internet connection at home.

I mean I know it has the potential to perform much faster down but I haven't really tried to push it yet. The advantage pretty much is the upload speeds for sharing i guess, 70 here compared to a 40 at home.

Well I have a 24/1 adsl2+ connection. Superfast down, but my upload is about 87kbit/sec.
