Chikai desu - it's near koko kara chikai desu - It's near from here Totemo chikai desu - It's very near Mura no chikaku desu - It's near a village Michi no chikaku desu - It's near the road Tooi - far Tooidesu ka? - is it far? Tooi desu - It's far Tooku arimasen/nai desu - It's not far Koko kara tooi desu - it's far from here.

I think its spelled
Iie = no, wrong Ohayoo - good morning
Hoontouni/ hoontou- really ( or what ever you spell it) Hoontou desu ka? - Really? Naani? - what Nan desu ka? - what is it? kore wa nan desu ka?/Naani kore? - what is this Nande - why ( sometimes i hear doshte when watching anime)

Well, My Dear - monsheri-, omaesan Monsheri- is "my dear" and Omaesan is used to call someone using "My Dear" EDIT:Found it here http://www.freedict.com/onldict/jap.html

Yokatta desu - It was good ( i use this alot in restaurants  ). Oishikatta desu - It was delicious.

 from the stuff given here seems some people are using pimsleur or something  (which i do) lesse...after eating gochisosama deshita-thank's for the meal domo arigatou gozaimashia-thanks alot uh...useful for bars BIRU JUPPUN ONEGAISHIMASU >o< (:P) (gimme 10 bottle of beer) irrashimasu-polite form of ikimasu (to go), and some other verbs...i'll update if i remember the other ones too atsui-hot samui-cold
