first anime was Gatchman... over here they called it Battle of the Planets then Eagle Riders :roll:

For those who have no idea what I'm talking about its a bunch of kids dressed as different birds that fight evil in different vehicles. It was really cool at the time.

then it was Mazinger Z (Tranzor Z in the US) then it was Macross <3 (Robotech... eww)

lol same here. I became obsessed with anime when I was 7, I became obsessed with Digimon and Sailor Moon. I still am although I watch other anime now too XD

It was definitely Sailor Moon. I used to watch it when I was ten before school on one of the local channels. that's about when I fell in love with anime.

I look back now and realize it's a mostly ridiculous show but it still holds a soft spot in my heart, being the first and all.

I tend to defend it a lot, too :p

First anime was Sailor Moon, but all cut up because there are some scenes that are not deemed appropriate in Argentina. I also loved Dragon Ball, but I coudn't watch it because we didn't have cable...
