sou da ne? (i thought it was "isn't it?" as a question not the negative "no it isn't" but either my jap's a bit off today, or you WERE meaning the same thing i was thinking i jsut misunderstood :P, prolly first one...haven't been thinking straight lately)

kurruma wa bussuyori hayai desu, that's the car (kuruma wa) is faster than the bus(bussuyori hayai desu)

hmm...I'm thinking sore wa de nai for "no it isn't"
and sore nai ka for "isn't it?"

either that, or I'm too formal.
