yeah i just remembered about this manga too, it's a great manga with a suspensful plot. basically you have these 2 really smart people, one named Kira who's a mass murderer and another is L, a genius dectective who has never failed to solve a case. you have those 2 battling wits, one trying to solve the mystery the other trying to keep from getting caught

mhm yeah it's quite a read...interesting to see the development of the plot and the littel cat n mouse game and all the stuff that they do it's amazing yeah DEFINATELY download (i hope they don't make an anime outta it, or if they have oh well i'll check it out but hey're got o do a kickass job to be able to make it live up to the manga)

mhm i agree...sometimes the result can be quite good but too many times it's just messed up (love hina...but then again they ran outta money so that's also a factor)

Death Notes is amazing. I just finished the 6th volume released as Shounen Jump... but it's not really even a shounen manga. Haha. Anyway, it's one of my more recent favorites.

Yep, it was made into a crazy popular Anime.

But what amazes me, since it did stay fairly true to the manga, is that Naruto still has a bigger fan base than this anime!

Oh, the live action movies aren't bad either. They really put a good amount of effort into making this franchise worth our while, in my opinion.
